Circuit Crime Scene

TECHNICAL

A hardware troubleshooting event where participants act as electronics detectives. Teams are given a breadboard circuit with a deliberate fault — loose wire, blown LED, wrong resistor, or reversed diode — and must spot and fix it.

Team (2 to 4 members) • 45 minutes • Electronics Lab

PPT and Paper Presentation

TECHNICAL

A presentation event for students to share ideas on modern technology and engineering trends in electronics, communication, IoT, and embedded systems, followed by Q&A.

Team (1 to 3 members) • 8 to 10 minutes per team • Seminar Hall / Smart Classroom

Reverse Engineering

TECHNICAL

A hands-on event where teams inspect a disassembled electronic gadget (e.g., remote control, sensor board, toy car circuit), spot parts, trace power tracks, and deduce its purpose.

Team (2 to 3 members) • 45 minutes • Hardware Lab / Classroom

NON-TECHNICAL EVENTS

ECE Escape Room

NON-TECHNICAL

A mystery-themed room game where teams solve puzzle stations (matching resistor color codes, connecting paper switches, and solving riddles) to unlock the next clue and escape.

Team (3 to 4 members) • 30 minutes • Department Classroom / Lab

IPL Auction

NON-TECHNICAL

A mock cricket auction where participants manage a virtual budget to build their dream IPL playing 11, bidding in real time against other colleges while satisfying squad constraints.

Team (2 to 4 members) • 90 minutes • Seminar Hall / Auditorium

GENERAL SYMPOSIUM GUIDELINES

Essential instructions for all registered participants attending VIYUGAM 2K26. Please review carefully to ensure seamless participation.

All participants must bring their own valid college ID cards.

Participants must carry essential articles (pen drive, standees, poster, laptops, prototypes or models) for their respective events.

Participants must abide by the final decision given by the jury panel.

All participants must follow the rules and regulations; any kind of misbehaviour, malpractice, or disruptive behaviour will result in cancellation of participation and immediate disqualification.

Lunch and appetizers will be provided to all registered participants.

Participants must register before the event begins and report to the venue on time.

Event-specific equipment, software, time limits, and participation formats will be announced by coordinators before each round.

Participants are responsible for following the rules and instructions announced before each round.
