CHALLENGE STAGES

STAGE 1

Stage 1 — Cricket Screening Quiz

A short 15-question written quiz on IPL trivia to qualify for the main bidding table.

STAGE 2

Stage 2 — The Live Auction

Live bidding rounds on player cards with paddle raises using virtual points and crores.

STAGE 3

Stage 3 — Team Sheet Submission

Submit the final list of 11 players ensuring all squad combination rules are satisfied.

RULES AND REGULATIONS

  • Teams must consist of 2 to 4 members.
  • Every squad must have exactly 11 players including at least 1 wicketkeeper, 3 to 4 bowlers, 3 to 4 batsmen, and 1 to 2 all-rounders; maximum 4 overseas players.
  • Going over budget or failing to buy 11 players results in direct disqualification.
  • Teams are evaluated based on total player rating points calculated from the official symposium ratings sheet.

SCORING AND EVALUATION

  • Total squad rating points evaluated against purse balance efficiency.

GENERAL SYMPOSIUM GUIDELINES

Essential instructions for all registered participants attending VIYUGAM 2K26. Please review carefully to ensure seamless participation.

All participants must bring their own valid college ID cards.

Participants must carry essential articles (pen drive, standees, poster, laptops, prototypes or models) for their respective events.

Participants must abide by the final decision given by the jury panel.

All participants must follow the rules and regulations; any kind of misbehaviour, malpractice, or disruptive behaviour will result in cancellation of participation and immediate disqualification.

Lunch and appetizers will be provided to all registered participants.

Participants must register before the event begins and report to the venue on time.

Event-specific equipment, software, time limits, and participation formats will be announced by coordinators before each round.

Participants are responsible for following the rules and instructions announced before each round.
