WEB REDESIGN is a web development and UI/UX challenge where participants receive a sample website and recreate it accurately with clean, responsive design.

CHALLENGE STAGES

STAGE 1

Stage 1 — Analyse

Examine the reference website provided by organizers to understand page structure, layout, navigation, UI elements, and styling.

STAGE 2

Stage 2 — Redesign

Recreate and implement the reference website maintaining core design and functionality while ensuring a clean and responsive interface.

STAGE 3

Stage 3 — Presentation

Demonstrate completed website and explain implementation, design choices, responsiveness, and improvements made during the challenge.

RULES AND REGULATIONS

  • Core purpose and functionality of the provided sample website must be maintained.
  • Website must be created during the event from sample websites provided by organizers.
  • Previously developed websites or templates cannot be submitted as final work.
  • Participants may use HTML, CSS, JavaScript, frameworks, and tools (VS Code, Android Studio, etc.).
  • Participants must bring their own laptop, charger, and required accessories.

GENERAL SYMPOSIUM GUIDELINES

Essential instructions for all registered participants attending VIYUGAM 2K26. Please review carefully to ensure seamless participation.

All participants must bring their own valid college ID cards.

Participants must carry essential articles (pen drive, standees, poster, laptops, prototypes or models) for their respective events.

Participants must abide by the final decision given by the jury panel.

All participants must follow the rules and regulations; any kind of misbehaviour, malpractice, or disruptive behaviour will result in cancellation of participation and immediate disqualification.

Lunch and appetizers will be provided to all registered participants.

Participants must register before the event begins and report to the venue on time.

Event-specific equipment, software, time limits, and participation formats will be announced by coordinators before each round.

Participants are responsible for following the rules and instructions announced before each round.
