Vibe Coding

A creative and beginner-friendly coding challenge where participants use AI-powered vibe coding tools to build a functional and visually appealing website based on a theme provided on the spot. The event is designed to be simple and accessible, so participants do not need advanced coding skills or prior experience with AI-powered development tools. Participants will be judged on creativity, functionality, design, and how effectively they use AI tools to transform their ideas into a working website.

CHALLENGE STAGES

STAGE 1

Stage 1 — Ideate

The on-spot theme will be revealed, and teams will plan their website concept and approach.

STAGE 2

Stage 2 — Vibe Code

Teams use AI-powered coding tools and prompts to develop and complete their website within the allotted 1-hour time limit.

RULES AND REGULATIONS

  • Each team can have a maximum of 4 members.
  • The theme/topic will be disclosed only at the start of the event; no prior preparation is allowed.
  • Participants can use AI-powered coding tools and website development platforms permitted by the organizers.
  • No advanced coding knowledge is required; participants can use AI tools to assist them throughout the development process.
  • The website must be developed and completed within the 1-hour time limit.
  • Internet access and permitted AI tools may be used as instructed by the organizers.

SCORING AND EVALUATION

  • Judging will be based on Functionality, Creativity, UI/UX, Effective AI Usage, and Overall Execution.
  • The team with the highest overall score will be declared the winner.

GENERAL SYMPOSIUM GUIDELINES

Essential instructions for all registered participants attending VIYUGAM 2K26. Please review carefully to ensure seamless participation.

All participants must bring their own valid college ID cards.

Participants must carry essential articles (pen drive, standees, poster, laptops, prototypes or models) for their respective events.

Participants must abide by the final decision given by the jury panel.

All participants must follow the rules and regulations; any kind of misbehaviour, malpractice, or disruptive behaviour will result in cancellation of participation and immediate disqualification.

Lunch and appetizers will be provided to all registered participants.

Participants must register before the event begins and report to the venue on time.

Event-specific equipment, software, time limits, and participation formats will be announced by coordinators before each round.

Participants are responsible for following the rules and instructions announced before each round.
