TechQuest: The Blind Tech Labyrinth

A high-stakes, time-based web labyrinth where intuition and technical prowess are the only ways out. Teams solve 4 technical challenges per page to earn alphanumeric characters and decode a 5th riddle to sequence their Key before running out of lives.

CHALLENGE STAGES

STAGE 1

Stage 1 — The Gateway

Solve 4 basic technical questions and 1 simple sequencing riddle to learn the mechanics and generate the first key.

STAGE 2

Stage 2 — The Logic Catacombs

Face intermediate technical questions where the 5th sequencing riddle becomes trickier, demanding closer attention.

STAGE 3

Stage 3 — The Vault

Solve the final, highly specific set of complex questions to unlock the winning page and claim the victory code.

RULES AND REGULATIONS

  • Teams must consist of 1 to 2 members.
  • Every room presents 4 technical challenges and a 5th sequence riddle used to forge the team’s Key.
  • Teams are given a maximum number of lives (e.g., 5 total incorrect attempts) for the entire event.
  • Entering an incorrect key displays an error and consumes one life; losing all lives results in direct disqualification.
  • There are no progress bars; participants will not know who is in the lead.
  • The first team to reach the final page with at least one life remaining wins.

GENERAL SYMPOSIUM GUIDELINES

Essential instructions for all registered participants attending VIYUGAM 2K26. Please review carefully to ensure seamless participation.

All participants must bring their own valid college ID cards.

Participants must carry essential articles (pen drive, standees, poster, laptops, prototypes or models) for their respective events.

Participants must abide by the final decision given by the jury panel.

All participants must follow the rules and regulations; any kind of misbehaviour, malpractice, or disruptive behaviour will result in cancellation of participation and immediate disqualification.

Lunch and appetizers will be provided to all registered participants.

Participants must register before the event begins and report to the venue on time.

Event-specific equipment, software, time limits, and participation formats will be announced by coordinators before each round.

Participants are responsible for following the rules and instructions announced before each round.
