CHALLENGE STAGES
Stage 1 — Image 1 Recreate
The first reference image is displayed on the projector. Participants have 3 minutes to observe it and recreate it using any permitted AI image tool. Prompts can be refined and images regenerated freely within the time window. All participant screens feed into a shared live display so the audience can watch attempts evolve in real time.
Stage 2 — Image 2 Recreate with Constraint
The second reference image is displayed. Before the timer begins, organizers announce a prompt constraint that applies to everyone, for example: describe it in only 10 words, or do not name any color. Participants have 15 minutes to recreate the image while following that restriction.
Stage 3 — Final Submission and Live Judging
Participants submit one final image per reference before the 35-minute window closes. The top five submissions for each image are placed side by side on the projector next to the original. Judges score them live and briefly explain each decision so participants and the audience understand what separated the top entries.
