Movie Mania

Movie Mania is a team quiz event built across three rounds of movie and song identification using picture clues, frame sequences, and reversed audio. Teams compete to score points across all three rounds and a steal mechanic keeps every question alive even after one team gets it wrong. It is built to be just as entertaining for the crowd watching as it is for the teams on the floor.

CHALLENGE STAGES

STAGE 1

Stage 1 — Round 1 (Picture Clue)

A picture or visual clue is displayed on the projector. Teams identify the movie it represents. Each question comes with a fixed time window for teams to discuss and submit their final answer. This round has 8 questions.

STAGE 2

Stage 2 — Round 2 (Frame by Frame)

A sequence of images from a song is shown on the projector. Teams identify the song from the visual frames. Images are revealed progressively, giving more detail as the countdown runs. This round has 6 questions.

STAGE 3

Stage 3 — Round 3 (Reverse Riddle)

A song is played in reverse through speakers. Teams identify the original song. This round runs as a buzzer format where the first team to signal gets to answer. This round has 5 songs.
