Memory Lens

An observation and memory challenge in which participants study a collection of pictures and answer questions based on the details they observed. The event tests visual attention, recall, and concentration.

CHALLENGE STAGES

STAGE 1

Round 1 — Observe and Remember

Display 10 pictures for a fixed observation time. Participants carefully study the people, objects, colours, positions, and other visible details.

STAGE 2

Round 2 — Spot the Difference

Show pairs of similar pictures and ask participants to identify changes or missing details.

STAGE 3

Round 3 — Memory Under Pressure

Display a larger set of pictures for a short time and ask challenging questions that require accurate recall and comparison.

RULES AND REGULATIONS

  • Participants must observe pictures only during the time provided.
  • No screenshots, photography, or external assistance permitted.
  • Answers must be submitted within the time given for each round.
  • Points are awarded for correct observations and accurate recall.
  • In case of a tie, a sudden-death observation question may be conducted.
  • The participant or team with the highest total score wins.

GENERAL SYMPOSIUM GUIDELINES

Essential instructions for all registered participants attending VIYUGAM 2K26. Please review carefully to ensure seamless participation.

All participants must bring their own valid college ID cards.

Participants must carry essential articles (pen drive, standees, poster, laptops, prototypes or models) for their respective events.

Participants must abide by the final decision given by the jury panel.

All participants must follow the rules and regulations; any kind of misbehaviour, malpractice, or disruptive behaviour will result in cancellation of participation and immediate disqualification.

Lunch and appetizers will be provided to all registered participants.

Participants must register before the event begins and report to the venue on time.

Event-specific equipment, software, time limits, and participation formats will be announced by coordinators before each round.

Participants are responsible for following the rules and instructions announced before each round.
