A presentation event where participants propose an innovative solution to a real-world problem using AI, Data Science, or related technologies. The focus is on originality, technical feasibility, clarity, and practical impact.

CHALLENGE STAGES

STAGE 1

Stage 1 — Idea Submission

Submit the problem statement, proposed solution, and presentation topic before the scheduled event.

STAGE 2

Stage 2 — Idea Presentation

Present the proposed solution clearly, covering the problem, methodology, technology used, and expected outcome.

STAGE 3

Stage 3 — Q&A Round

Answer questions from the judges about technical feasibility, implementation, innovation, and impact.

RULES AND REGULATIONS

  • Participants may present individually or in teams of up to 3 members.
  • Presentation must follow the time limit announced by coordinators.
  • The idea should have a clear problem statement and an AI or Data Science connection.
  • PPTs must be submitted or brought in the format specified by coordinators.
  • Scoring considers innovation, technical feasibility, presentation quality, and Q&A performance.
  • The participant or team with the highest combined judge score wins.

SCORING AND EVALUATION

  • Innovation & Originality: 30%
  • Technical Feasibility: 30%
  • Presentation Quality & Clarity: 25%
  • Q&A Defense: 15%

GENERAL SYMPOSIUM GUIDELINES

Essential instructions for all registered participants attending VIYUGAM 2K26. Please review carefully to ensure seamless participation.

All participants must bring their own valid college ID cards.

Participants must carry essential articles (pen drive, standees, poster, laptops, prototypes or models) for their respective events.

Participants must abide by the final decision given by the jury panel.

All participants must follow the rules and regulations; any kind of misbehaviour, malpractice, or disruptive behaviour will result in cancellation of participation and immediate disqualification.

Lunch and appetizers will be provided to all registered participants.

Participants must register before the event begins and report to the venue on time.

Event-specific equipment, software, time limits, and participation formats will be announced by coordinators before each round.

Participants are responsible for following the rules and instructions announced before each round.
