CHALLENGE STAGES

STAGE 1

Stage 1 — Decode the Hit

Identify popular tracks from initial emoji clues.

STAGE 2

Stage 2 — Speed Decode

Answer rapid emoji clues within 20 seconds per track.

STAGE 3

Stage 3 — Final Challenge

Solve complex emoji riddles covering classics, melodies, and trending hits.

RULES AND REGULATIONS

  • Two participants per team.
  • Report 10 minutes before the event.
  • Songs will be from Tamil cinema and popular Tamil music.
  • Only the given emoji clues may be used.
  • 20 seconds per question; only one final answer is allowed.
  • Mobile phones and internet lookup are strictly prohibited.

SCORING AND EVALUATION

  • Points for correct answers within the 20-second window.
  • Fastest response time breaks ties in the final round.

GENERAL SYMPOSIUM GUIDELINES

Essential instructions for all registered participants attending VIYUGAM 2K26. Please review carefully to ensure seamless participation.

All participants must bring their own valid college ID cards.

Participants must carry essential articles (pen drive, standees, poster, laptops, prototypes or models) for their respective events.

Participants must abide by the final decision given by the jury panel.

All participants must follow the rules and regulations; any kind of misbehaviour, malpractice, or disruptive behaviour will result in cancellation of participation and immediate disqualification.

Lunch and appetizers will be provided to all registered participants.

Participants must register before the event begins and report to the venue on time.

Event-specific equipment, software, time limits, and participation formats will be announced by coordinators before each round.

Participants are responsible for following the rules and instructions announced before each round.
