CRAFT (CAD)

A CAD-based design challenge where participants transform a given agricultural engineering model into an accurate digital design, testing precision drafting and modeling skills.

CHALLENGE STAGES

STAGE 1

Stage 1 — Observe

Participants receive a physical model or image of an agricultural component on the spot.

STAGE 2

Stage 2 — Design

Recreate the model using specified CAD software within the allotted time.

STAGE 3

Stage 3 — Showcase

Submit the completed CAD file and briefly explain the design constraints and assembly.

RULES AND REGULATIONS

  • Teams must consist of a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 2 members.
  • The basic model or image will be provided only at the beginning of the event.
  • Designs must be completed within the 90-minute limit.
  • Previously prepared models are not permitted.

GENERAL SYMPOSIUM GUIDELINES

Essential instructions for all registered participants attending VIYUGAM 2K26. Please review carefully to ensure seamless participation.

All participants must bring their own valid college ID cards.

Participants must carry essential articles (pen drive, standees, poster, laptops, prototypes or models) for their respective events.

Participants must abide by the final decision given by the jury panel.

All participants must follow the rules and regulations; any kind of misbehaviour, malpractice, or disruptive behaviour will result in cancellation of participation and immediate disqualification.

Lunch and appetizers will be provided to all registered participants.

Participants must register before the event begins and report to the venue on time.

Event-specific equipment, software, time limits, and participation formats will be announced by coordinators before each round.

Participants are responsible for following the rules and instructions announced before each round.
