Clue Clash (Imposter)

A mystery deduction game where participants from different colleges form mixed teams. Most members receive a common secret word, while one receives an Imposter sheet. Players provide clues and try to expose the Imposter.

CHALLENGE STAGES

STAGE 1

Stage 1 — Mix

Participants from different colleges are randomly grouped into diverse teams.

STAGE 2

Stage 2 — Reveal

Sheets are handed out in secret: one member receives the Imposter card, others get the secret word.

STAGE 3

Stage 3 — Clue

Each participant gives a single cryptic clue without directly naming the secret word.

STAGE 4

Stage 4 — Identify

Team members cross-examine clues and vote on who they believe is the Imposter.

RULES AND REGULATIONS

  • Each team consists of 5 to 6 participants from different colleges.
  • Each participant receives only one sheet which must not be shown to others.
  • One participant in each team is the secret Imposter.
  • Participants must not directly reveal the secret word.
  • Points are awarded for correct Imposter identification and successful Imposter bluffing.

SCORING AND EVALUATION

  • Team points for correctly exposing the Imposter.
  • Bonus points for Imposters who survive without detection.

GENERAL SYMPOSIUM GUIDELINES

Essential instructions for all registered participants attending VIYUGAM 2K26. Please review carefully to ensure seamless participation.

All participants must bring their own valid college ID cards.

Participants must carry essential articles (pen drive, standees, poster, laptops, prototypes or models) for their respective events.

Participants must abide by the final decision given by the jury panel.

All participants must follow the rules and regulations; any kind of misbehaviour, malpractice, or disruptive behaviour will result in cancellation of participation and immediate disqualification.

Lunch and appetizers will be provided to all registered participants.

Participants must register before the event begins and report to the venue on time.

Event-specific equipment, software, time limits, and participation formats will be announced by coordinators before each round.

Participants are responsible for following the rules and instructions announced before each round.
